The first edition of "ACL Moto On Tour", a motorcycle tour through the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, that took place on Saturday 1 October was a resounding success, as reported by the Automobile Club of Luxembourg (ACL).
For the first time, the ACL has organised an event that included all bikers. A total of 80 motorcycle enthusiasts met at the headquarters of the Automobile Club in Bertrange. Despite steady rain in the morning, the weather was finally on the side of the two-wheelers, as most of the 200 kilometer circuit could proceed in good conditions - overcast but dry - during the afternoon.
Divided into five groups, some 74 motorcycles (including BMW, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki ....) traveled the scenic roads of the Grand Duchy. Two strategic stops to regain strength and fill were planned, one in Friedhaff and the other in Wasserbillig, at Aral filling stations.
To close the day, participants shared their impressions of the day around a barbecue in a relaxed atmosphere.
