The Luxembourg Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure have just announced that the SNCF and CFL will continue to provide higher capacity trains on the Metz-Thionville-Luxembourg line for rush hour this evening and tomorrow morning, Friday 20 November 2015.
This evening, of the 11 trains running between 15:55 and 18:40, 7 will contain with double seating plans, meaning 2 x 330 seats per train, as well as 4 single units of 330 seats per train. This will guarantee an additional 660 seats for French commuters.
Tomorrow morning, the same capacity will be in place, offering an increase of 2,500 available places. Tomorrow evening, 8 double trains and 3 standard trains, indicating an additional 990 seats, will circulate towards France.
