Parts of Route d'Arlon to Be Blocked For Next 4 Days

From Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November 2015, final repair work will be performed on the stretch of Route d'Arlon between Val Fleuri and Rue des Aubépines, between the Rue Auguste Liesch and Route d'Arlon respective to the Rue des Aubépines.

Individual Transport

• From 12:00 on Thursday 5 November until 21:00 on Friday 6 November 2015, work will be conducted on Rue des Aubépines, which will become a one-way road at the section leaving Val Ste Croix towards Route d'Arlon
• From 21:00 on Friday 6 November until 06:00 on Saturday 7 November 2015, Route d'Arlon will be one-way from Val Fleuri towards rue des Aubépines.
• From Saturday 7 to 06:00 on Sunday 8 November 2015, Rue des Aubépines and specifically the section located between Route d'Arlon and Rue Auguste Liesch and all portions of adjacent streets, leading to the Rue des Aubépines, will be closed to traffic. During this period, the section located between Val Ste Croix and Avenue Gaston Diderich will remain open to local residents and public transport.
• From 06:00 to 20:00 on Sunday 8 November 2015, the stretch of Rue des Aubépines betweeen Route d'Arlon and Rue Auguste Liesch and all adjoining street sections leading to Rue des Aubépines will be closed off to traffic.

For the duration of the work, the parking on both sides of the paved roadway of Rue des Aubépines, between Rue Auguste Liesch and Route d'Arlon, will be prohibited. The car park located along Merl cemetery will onle prohibit parking between 06:00 and 20:00 on Sunday 8 November 2015.

Public Transport

• From 12:00 on Thursday 5 November 2015 to 21:00 on Friday 6 November 2015, this line will be redirected by Val Ste Croix in the direction of Waassertuerm. The Stade, Wandmillen and Aubépines stops will not be served and will instead by replaced with Val Ste Croix and Rue de l'Ouest. In the direction of the Gare Centrale, line 13 will be diverted from Route d'Arlon and Val Ste Croix. The Aubépines stop will be replaced with Val Ste Croix.
• From 21:00 on Friday 6 to 06:00 on Saturday 7 November 2015, Line 8 in the direction of Eich cultural centre and Line 28 in the direction of Gare Centrale will be diverted towards Rue des Aubépines, Val Ste Croix and Rue d'Ostende. Bus stop Aubépines of line 28 as well as Wandmillen and Stade of both lines will be replaced by Val Ste Croix (129 Rue des Aubépines) and Stade (rue d'Ostende).
• From 06:00 on Saturday 7 to Sunday 8 November 2015, Line 8 will run in both directions between Wandmillen and Strassen-Grande-Duchess-Charlotte stops. Aubépines, Rue de l'Ouest, Strassen-Les Aubépines, Strassen-Michel Angelo, Strassen Réimerwee and Strassen-Kiem. These will be replaced with Strassen-Huorgarten, Strassen-Hondseck and Strassen-Aurélia.

Line 13 will not serve the following stops: Merl-Kierfecht, val Ste Crois and Aubépines. For the western part of the Belair district, Line 13 will circulate from the Belair-Kierch stop to serve a temporary stop on Rue Charles IV, level with Rue Émile Verhaeren.
