After two and a half years of intense activity in consultancy around investment funds, their management companies and other providers, Arendt Regulatory Solutions has changed name to become Arendt & Regulatory Consulting.
The company, which works closely with the Arendt & Medernach firm of lawyers, has evolved both in terms of its size and its range of services and nature of its customers. The new name best illustrates its new missions, including solutions and support that it provides to its customers.
Regulatory issues raised by MiFID II, AIFMD, UCITS V and the directives on the fight against money laundering and terrorism are at the heart of the concerns of industry professionals. Added to this are new tax transparency requirements with FATCA and CRS and the many reporting required by the supervisory authorities. Even entities outside the financial sector in the strict sense must adapt to new circumstances, comply with the laws, regulations or just the measures imposed by the group to which they belong. In this context customers demand more than just support for the implementation of the rules, they expect a real strategic thinking and operational solutions as these rules are complex and global.
To accommodate this demand and meet these needs, Arendt Regulatory & Consulting has implemented new processes and methodologies. CAROL and Governance Radar are some innovative tools created by the company to help financial professionals and funds. Collaboration with IT service providers allows Arendt & Regulatory Consulting to offer a range of reporting services around AIFMD, FATCA and CRS.
