The National Youth Service (SNJ) of Luxembourg has today launched a call for young adults aged 18 and above who would be interested in overseeing sporting and creative activities for youth groups during the school year and holidays.
Interested individuals will need to attend a mandatory introduction before selecting the advanced training of their choice. Activities, which will take place at the Lultzhausen watersports centre and the Marienthal centre, will include a rope park, mountain biking, water sports, indoor climbing, team building, archery and video editing.
The training will be organised by the SNJ alongside the National School of Physical Education and Sport (ENEPS), with an aptitude test included in training. Facilitators can then engage in the 'freelance' team at one or more SNJ centres as well as mentor youth groups.
This year, twelve different courses have been organised by the SNJ, all of which will be held in Luxembourgish.
Applications can be made until 16 December 2015, by e-mail to freelances@snj.lu or by post Base Nautique Lultzhausen, SNJ, maison 2, L-9666, Lultzhausen. More information is available at www.basenautique.lu or www.marienthal.snj.lu
