Video enthusiasts in Luxembourg will have their chance to shine in 2016 with the recently launched 5th edition of the 'Crème Fraîche' competition of the National Youth Service (SNJ).
The 'Crème Fraîche' competition, organised in collaboration with the National Audiovisual Centre (CNA) and under the Luxembourg City Film Festival, will be divided into two categories.
The 'Scénario' contest will invite young people developing an original film script for a duration of six to nine minutes. The winning script will be professionally produced in 2016, before being presented to the public at the 2017 edition of the Luxembourg City Film Festival.
The second competition, entitled '60 Sekonne Clips', will involve the production of one minute long clips, a selection of which will be presented to the public during the 'Crème Fraîche' evening at Utopolis cinema on 27 February 2016. Three winners will be selected by the public over the course of the evening.
The competition is open to any individual in Luxembourg aged between 12 and 30 years old. Young people are able to receive coaching and advice from adults.

The winners will be announced on Saturday 27 February 2016 during Luxembourg City Film Festival at Utopolis Kirchberg. The short film 'Camille', winner of the 'Scénario' 2015 contest, will be screened during the evening.
