Esch-sur-Alzette will be taking part in Halloween festivities this weekend with three events held around the celebration of the eve of All Sains Day.
Saturday 31 October 2015 will begin with a Zombiewalk of people dressed and disguised as the undead. The parade, organised by the Science Fiction & Fantasy Society Luxembourg, will begin at the town hall at 14:00, passing by Rue de l'Alzette and finishing up at Place du Brill. Participants are asked to arrive onsite before 14:00, with a small number of people able to received make up onsite if they so wish.
The fun will continue with the Halloween Comis Fest at the Inked Geeks comic book shop at 25, Rue Dicks, where the team will be distributing free comics throughout the afternoon. Comic book fans can also received the signed works of Andy Genen (De läschte Ritter, De Roude Puma), Anthony Darr and Rene Clement, who will be available to create drawings for comic enthusiasts.
The day will by topped off with an evening Open Screen Halloween special at the Ellergrond visitors centre, where a selection of fresh products will be offered for an evening of ghost stories and marshmallows.
