After being cancelled last week, weekend work on the utility lines on the Route de Longwy has been rescheduled for this Sunday.
Parts of the road will therefore be closed to traffic between 07:00 and 19:00 this Sunday 11 October 2015.
Traffic will not be permitted between Rue de Strassen and Rue de Merl, with a detour route set up from Route de Longwy via Rue de la Barrière and Rue de Merl. This will be conveyed with signs and markups.
Bus lines 5,6 and 215 will be diverted in both directions by Rue de la Barrière and Rue de Merl, and the 'Laang Heck' bus stop, direction Bertrange, will subsequently be moved a few hundred metres towards Luxembourg, in front of the building 282, whilst the 'Saint Hubert' stops will be replace with 'Saint Gengoul' stops on Rue de Merl.
