From Friday 16 to Sunday 25 October 2015, the European Space Expo will be held on the Place Guillaume II (Knuedler) in Luxembourg City.
Organised as part of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union by the Commission and in cooperation with Luxembourg's Ministry of Economy, the exhibition shows the public in a concrete, simple and fun way the benefits of European space programmes such as Galileo (satellite navigation) and Copernicus (earth observation).
The exhibition also highlights the inherent expertise of Luxembourg companies in the space sector. Already more than 850,000 people have visited the European Space Expo which has visited almost 30 European cities.
A series of 15 minute presentations will be delivered on weekdays at 17:30, 18:00 and 18:30, and at week-ends at 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00 on different topics related to the exhibition.
Admission is free-of-charge.
