On 18 October 2015, the woods of Bonnevoie will host the 10km Korogocho Run.
The run has been organised by the North-South Co-Operation (NSC), a Luxembourg-based organisation working to promote social, environmental and economic development in international cooperation. The race will allow participants to enjoy the great outdoors in the forest of Bonnevoie just five minutes from the city centre whilst raising money towards the construction of a library in Korogocho, one of the poorest slums in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi, with a view to improving their future through reading and studying.
