POST Luxembourg and Technoport SA have announces the signing of a multi-year partnership agreement to support technological and innovative entrepreneurship.

The partnership, which runs until 2017, is the primary objective of promoting exchanges between the Luxembourg POST group and startups supported by Technoport. It also allows POST Luxembourg to rely on a recognised partner in the field of business incubation, including the POST Capital investment arm of the group.

In this context Technoport accepted its 100th start-up at the end of February 2015, Synedge SA. This startup, in which POST Capital acquired a stake, is currently setting up a next-generation Content Delivery Network (CDN) to deliver in a secure and fast way, the content on any mobile device according to a payment model to use.

According to Jos Glod, deputy director general of POST Luxembourg in charge of POST Capital, staed "POST Luxembourg, through its subsidiary POST Capital, is positioned on the market as an industrialist investor. This strategic partnership with Technoport allows us firstly to contribute to the development of an attractive ecosystem for entrepreneurship in Luxembourg and to complete our service offering to startups."

Diego De Biasio, Director of Technoport, stressed the importance of building partnerships with national companies and a reputation of POST Luxembourg to strengthen the links between startups and the business world, by stating "We are delighted that POST Luxembourg trusts us by signing this multi-year contract and more that there is this desire to support entrepreneurship by combining our respective strengths. Our goal is to offer a framework conducive to innovation our entrepreneurs and also to our partners. Synedge SA is just one example among many of how this collaboration can be realised.
