The 2015 European Year for Development association, in collaboration with SOS Faim, CITIM/ASTM and Caritas Luxembourg, today launched a poster competition entitled 'Eis Welt 2030'.
The idea behind the contest is for participants to demonstrate, in the form of a poster, their perception of the world in 2030, depicting their expectations, dreams and wishes for a fair and sustainable future. The design of the poster is optional, and may be presented in the form of a picture, collage, cartoon or other, with the emphasis instead being placed on the message communicated.
2015's European Year for Development is its first every to deal with the external action of the European Union and Europe's rold in the world, by showcasing European projects and policies aimed at eradicating poverty acorss the world. 2015 also represents the year of the Millenium Development Goals decided on in 2000, and the establishent of a global framework for the fight against poverty and for sustainable development.
