Although the car-park at the Reiser Paersdeeg in Crauthem was starting to churn up on Thursday evening following the recent deluges of rain experienced across the Grand Duchy, the show-jumping itself got off to a solid start on Thursday evening.

In the CSI1 category, there are 92 riders from 19 countries and 114 horses; in the CSI3 category, there are 78 riders from 20 countries and 190 horses.

As in previous years the organisers have done a tremendous job to create a village around the showjumping arena which is confortable for both the competitors and spectators alike, with sponsors showcasing their products and services in and around the temporary village.
