The Starclass competition for Junior CD speedskaters was held last weekend (Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February) in Leeuwarden in The Netherlands, with success for competitiors from Luxembourg.
Coming in overall fourth place was Augustin Géré in the Men’s Junior C category after finishing in third plase at 500m and second in 1,000m. He won the Junior Men D class in his first Starclass competition in the 2014/2015 season.
Together with his fellow skater Caroline he will continue on to the Europa Cup Final in Budapest, Hungary, where the eight best speedskaters from Starclass and the eight best from Danubia will be competing against each other.
On Friday 26 February the last Starclass competition in category BAS will be held in the new ice rink in Albertville, France. The ULPV also announced in their newsletter that the Luxembourg Championships will be held on Sunday 6 March 2016.
