The first opera of the 2017/18 season, Don Giovanni, is being performed on Monday 23, Wednesday 25 and Friday 27 October at the Grand Théâtre.
This Mozart opera, is directed by Jean-François Sivadier with the music a joint collaboration between Gustavo Gimeno and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg.
An introduction to Don Giovanni will be given by Jérôme Wigny from Amis de l'Opéra half an hour before each production. This will be given in French.
The opera will commence at 20:00 for each showing and will last 2 hours and 50 minutes excluding the intermission.
