
Kid Colling will represent Luxembourg at this year’s edition of the European Blues Challenge on 8 April in Horsens, Denmark.
Local blues rock singer and guitarist, Kid Colling, will travel to Denmark this weekend to perform on behalf of the Grand Duchy at the 7th European Blues Challenge, which takes place from 6-8 April.
Kid Colling, who released his debut album in January 2017 with his band Kid Colling Cartel, was selected for the competition on 1 October 2016 at the national Blues Challenge held at the cultural centre Beim Nëssert in Mondercange, organised by the Blues Club Luxembourg.
He will perform on 8 April alongside Luca Sales on the keyboard, Tom Heck on the bass and Gilles Bernard on the drums in an attempt to convince the jury.
The EBC, an initiative of the European Blues Union, is an annual event established in 2011. Being the most distinguished blues event in Europe, it is hosted by the the winning country of the previous edition. The Danish town of Horsens and the local blues association, Blueskartellet, will host this 7th edition of the EBC.
