A singing recital from mezzo-soprano Ruxandra Barac, accompanied by soloists Cornelia Gudea (violin) and Jessica Chan (piano) will be held at the Cercle Munster in Luxembourg-Grund this Friday from 21:00.
A varied mix of musical selection will be on the programme, featuring Bartok’s ‘Popular Romanian Dances’, Gershwin’s ‘It Ain’t Necessarily So’, as well as a more classical repertoire, including Brahms’ ‘Intermezzo in A op. 1 18 no.2’.
A ticket for the recital costs €15. There will also be a dinner served beforehand from 19:00. For those wishing to enjoy the dinner and the performance, the cost is €50.
