On Saturday 12 October 2024, the seven participating museums and galleries of the Stater Muséeën group in Luxembourg-Ville welcomed a total of 26,358 people to the 23rd Museum Night.

From 17:00 to 01:00, a diverse programme was offered including musical and artistic performances, DJ sets, concerts, creative workshops for all ages, special guided tours of the temporary and permanent exhibitions, as well as culinary surprises. 

At the Villa Vauban, guitarist Veda Bartringer and saxophonist Julien Cuvelier presented a resolutely modern jazz, including compositions and standards, while they strolled through the venue. At the Casino Luxembourg, the performance by transdisciplinary artist and performer Valérie Reding, developed as part of the Black Air exhibition, unfolded as a playful and engaging dialogue between the exhibition and the public.

Lëtzebuerg City Museum visitors, entertained by musicians Tanja Duprez (vocals) and Nadja Prange (piano/vocals), had the opportunity to sing from a wide repertoire in a warm atmosphere. At the Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart, a short self-dialogue "Francis Bacon talks to Francis Bacon" offered visitors a sensory insight into Bacon's unique artistic oeuvre.

At the Natur Musée, a performance by renowned DJ and nature enthusiast Dominik Eulberg presented a musical journey into nature while at the Dräi Eechelen Museum, a musical performance by Jehanne Strepenne (violin) and Risch Mirkeks (organ) was presented.

Finally, Mudam Luxembourg presented "Thonk piece: 80% twins", a performance by Toronto-based drag queens Mary Messhausen and proddy produzentin, presented as part of Cosima von Bonin's exhibition, "Songs for Gay Dogs".

The 24th edition of Night at the Museum will take place on Saturday 11 October 2025.
