The International Council of Museums (ICOM) Luxembourg and the Stater Muséeën have confirmed that museums in Luxembourg are and will remain open.

In a statement issued over the weekend, the museum bodies clarified that, contrary to certain media reports, museums in Luxembourg are not affected by the extended closure (until 15 January 2021) of various cultural venues in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

All museums remain accessible, in compliance with the sanitary measures in force.
