ICOM Luxembourg has announced that the 25th edition of the "Nuit des Musées" (Museum Night) will take place on Saturday 10 October 2026 from 17:00 to 01:00 across several museums in Luxembourg City.

Organised by d’stater muséeën and coordinated by ICOM Luxembourg the evening programme will be held in seven participating museums - Villa Vauban, Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain, Lëtzebuerg City Museum, Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart, National Museum of Natural History (Naturmusée), Musée Dräi Eechelen and Mudam Luxembourg.

Visitors will be able to discover both permanent and temporary exhibitions while also enjoying a variety of artistic performances, concerts, DJ sets, creative workshops and special guided tours. Everyone is free to organise their own itinerary, combining cultural discoveries with food breaks.

To mark the 25th edition, the seven museums have developed a joint artistic project with illustrator Irina Moons. Visitors purchasing a Museum Night wristband will receive a free booklet at the first museum they visit and can collect a different stamp at each of the seven venues, gradually completing illustrations created by the artist, noted the organisers.

The programme will also include activities ranging from concerts and interactive workshops to special exhibition tours. Highlights include travelling jazz performances at Villa Vauban, a sing-along performance at Lëtzebuerg City Museum, projection mapping on the façade of the Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart and workshops at several participating museums.

Free shuttles will connect the museums, although walking between sites remains an option.

Tickets are already on sale, with presale tickets available at the seven participating museums, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office and online at luxembourgticket.lu.
