The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a serious road accident took place in Mondorf on Wednedsay 22 May 2024.

Shortly before 21:00 on Wednesday evening, a car was involved in an accident on the Route de Burmerange in Mondorf. The vehicle came off the road and collided with a tree on the side of the road, noted the police.

The driver suffered serious injuries and received on-site emergency care. The driver was then taken to hospital for further treatment. To clarify the accident’s cause, the public prosecutor's office commissioned a forensic investigation.
