Glacis Car Park to Close for Schueberfouer Preparations

The City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) has announced details of the closure of the Glacis car park in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, in the context of this year's Schueberfouer.

Luxembourg's annual funfair is taking place from Friday 22 August to Wednesday 10 September 2025.

In preparation for the Schueberfouer, the car park will be closed over a series of four phases. The VdL implemented the first phase on Sunday 13 July, phase two will commence on Tuesday 29 July at 22:00, phase three will begin from Sunday 3 August at 22:00 and phase four will start on Saturday 16 August at 08:00.

The VdL have noted Avenue de la Faïencerie (between Allée Scheffer and Boulevard de la Foire) will be closed to all traffic from Saturday 16 August 2025, at 08:00 until Saturday 13 September 2025. 

Moreover, the Rond Point Schuman car park will be closed from 00:00 on Friday 22 August until 01:00 on Thursday 11 September 2025 inclusive (except for season ticket holders and persons with reduced mobility).

The VdL advise that the availability of free spaces in car parks can be consulted on the "cityapp" and on parking.vdl.lu.
