The Grand Ducal Police have appealed for witnesses in connection with a recent hit-and-run incident involving a van.

On Tuesday 31 October 2023, the police called for witnesses after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run in Mersch a few days earlier.

According to the police, the accident took place around 07:20 on Wednesday 25 October 2023, when a pedestrian was hit by a delivery van while traversing a zebra crossing at the intersection of Rue de la Gare and Rue Grand Duchesse Charlotte in Mersch.

The driver of the white van, sporting an unknown company logo, departed the scene without stopping to help the injured woman.
