The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal road accident occurred on the CR102 between Kehlen and Keispelt in western Luxembourg on Sunday evening.
The accident took place around 21:45 on Sunday 20 March 2022. A vehicle driving from the Quatre-Vents roundabout in Kehlen in the direction of Keispelt went into a ditch in a slight left turn and crashed into a tree on the passenger side.
The driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed with heavy equipment. He was taken to hospital. The 50-year-old female passenger from Garnich died at the scene of the accident.
The police were on site and the CR102 was closed for several hours between the Quatre-Vents roundabout and Keispelt.
