The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a road accident involving a child occurred on Route d'Arlon in Capellen on Monday evening.
Around 17:00 on Monday 14 March 2022, for reasons yet to be clarified, a child was hit by a vehicle driving past the school campus in Capellen in the direction of Mamer.
The child suffered injuries and was taken to the children's hospital.
The public prosecutor's office tasked the police with the on-site accident investigation. Route d'Arlon was closed to traffic (between Rue Charles Risch and Rue de la Gare) until the end of the investigation.
