The Grand Ducal Police have called for witnesses to a serious accident that occurred on the N11 in Lauterborn (near Echternach) on Saturday afternoon.
At around 14:20 on Saturday, there was a serious accident between a motorcycle and a car on the N11 in Lauterborn at the junction towards Scheidgen (CR118). The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The route between Michelshof and Lauterborn had to be completely closed to traffic for several hours; the road reopened to traffic just before 20:00.
By order of the public prosecutor's office, the police were on site and taked with investigating the accident.
