The Automobile Club of Luxembourg (ACL) has reported that it answered nearly 148,000 calls at its Assistance Centre and carried out almost 27,000 interventions in the Grand Duchy in 2021.
Last year, the ACL Assistance Centre received around 148,000 calls, an increase of nearly 26% compared to 2020. Similarly, the number of towing operations carried out in Luxembourg increased, with 26,995 interventions (up 25.5% compared to 2020). The ACL's partner clubs across Europe also carried out 1,519 interventions (up 25%).
Moreover, in 2021, the ACL carried out around 17,671 repairs in Luxembourg and 1,391 repairs across Europe.
The ACL's fleet of 30 vehicles covered some 1,403,420 kilometres in 2021 in the service of its members - the equivalent of 35 times around our planet.
