Fatal accident site on N7;

The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a 40 year-old motorist lost their life in an accident on the N7 this morning, Saturday 13 March 2021.
The accident took place at around 07:45 on the N7, just north of the Diekirch cemetery roundabout, with two vehicles involved in a head-on collision.
Both drivers, the sole occupants of their respective vehicles, were seriously injured in the accident. One of thre drivers, a 40-year-old resident of Landscheid, died of their serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
Representatives of the Diekirch public prosecutor's office, the CGDIS, the Diekirch police and the SPJ's measuring and detection service were at the scene of the fatal accident.
