Luxembourg's Roads Administration has announced that it will be carrying out roadworks related to the rehabilitation of the “Bowstring Schifflange” structure on the A13 motorway between the Kayl and Schifflange interchanges towards Pétange this Sunday.
From around 08:00 to 22:00 on Sunday 28 February 2021, the A13 between the Kayl and Schifflange interchanges in the direction of Pétange will be closed to all traffic. Traffic will be diverted from the Kayl interchange via the CR165, CR164, CR168 and CR169 to the Schifflange interchange and back onto the A13.
During this same period, traffic on the A13 between the Schifflange and Kayl interchanges (towards Schengen) will be reduced to one traffic lane via the hard shoulder. The maximum speed is limited to 70km / h.
With preparatory works being carried out a few hours in advance, traffic disruptions are to be expected in the early morning.
