The Grand Ducal Police has reported that a traffic accident involving a delivery lorry occurred in Flaxweiler, in south-eastern Luxembourg, on Wednesday afternoon.
At around 15:30 on Wednesday, a delivery lorry driver, accompanied by three passengers, hit a parked excavator (digger) while driving on a long bend on the CR122 dirt road.
One passenger in the back suffered severe leg injuries and had to be airlifted to hospital. The driver and front passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital in an ambulance for a medical check-up.
An accident report was drawn up.
