Luxembourg's Roads Authority has announced that the Hamm (Irrgarten) interchange will be subject to roadworks from Wednesday evening until Saturday morning.

In addition to the previously announced works being carried out from Wednesday to Friday, the Roads Authority will be carrying out a construction project related to the installation of two gantries on the N2 between the Hamm and Sandweiler interchanges from 20:00 on Friday 22 November until 06:00 on Sunday 23 November 2019.

For the duration of these works, the junction of the Hamm interchange from Gasperich to the Schaffner roundabout (Irrgarten) will be closed, as will the N2 between the Schaffner roundabout towards Sandweiler in both directions.

Traffic from Sandweiler to the Hamm interchange will be diverted from the Sandweiler roundabout via the following route: CR234B - CR234 - CR226 - N3 - CR231 - Hesperange interchange (S1) - Gasperich cross - A1 - Kirchberg interchange (S8) - A1 back onto the Hamm (S7) interchange.

Similarly, traffic from the A3 and A6 and the Gluck roundabout to the Hamm (S7) and Sandweiler interchanges will be diverted via the junction of the Gasperich and Hesperange interchanges (S1) - CR231 - N3 - CR226 - CR234 - CR234B to Sandweiler roundabout.

Finally, traffic from the A1 (Kirchberg interchange [S8] and from the Hamm interchange to Sandweiler) will be diverted via the A1 - Gasperich cross - Hesperange interchange (S1) - CR231 - N3 - CR226 - CR234 - CR234B to Sandweiler roundabout.
