Luxembourg's Roads Authority has announced that it will be carrying out a fire detection exercise from 10:00 today, Tuesday 10 September.
As part of the redevelopment of the Gosselerbierg tunnel on the A7 motorway, the Roads Authority will test a new fire detection cable in the tunnel tube from the Schoenfels interchange in the direction of the Lorentzweiler interchange from 10:00 on Tuesday.
During this exercise, opaque smoke may be emitted from the tunnel tube. However, all necessary security measures will be taken in order to ensure that the test has no impact on traffic
