Luxembourg's Public Roads Administration has announced that it will be undertaking construction works at the Strassen interchange on the A6 motorway this Saturday.

These works, which form part of the redevelopment of the Strassen interchange, will take place on Saturday 7 September 2019 from 08:00 to 13:00 and will see the closure of the slip road of the Strassen interchange from the Cessange cross of the A6 and towards the N6 and the slip road of the Strassen interchange from Weyler on the A6 towards the N6.

Traffic from the Belgian-Luxembourgish border of the A6 and towards Strassen (S4) will be diverted from the Bridel interchange (S3) via the CR181 and the N6 onto Route d'Arlon. A second diversion will also be in place for traffic from the Belgian-Luxembourgish border via the Helfenterbruck interchange (S5) back onto the A6 towards the Bridel interchange (S3) via the CR181 and the N6 on Route d'Arlon.

Similarly, traffic coming from the Cessange cross of the A6 and towards Strassen (S4) will be diverted from the Bridel interchange (S3) via the CR181 and the N6 back onto Roate d'Arlon.

The slip roads at the Strassen interchange will thus be closed from around 08:00 on Saturday morning until the end of these works around 13:00.
