The first two races of the 2019 Porsche Carrera Cup Germany in Hockenheim mark the official start of this year's competition for Luxembourg racecar driver Dylan Pereira.

Like last year, Dylan Pereira will be participating in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. His priority this season is making the top 3 in the  Supercup, an international championship that accompanies the Formula 1 World Championship and in which only the best participate.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Germany is the German version of the Porsche Supercup. This is the first country competition created by Porsche since 1987 and, this year, it will coincide with the ADAC GT Masters and DTM Grand Touring Championships.

Last year, Dylan Pereira made it to the podium twice in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, in Barcelona and Monaco. He finished six more times in the top 10, ending the championship in 7th place overall. At the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, the competitive Luxembourger finished the championship with the title of Rookie and in 4th place overall.

Training hard since the start of this year, Dylan Pereira has already competed in four races of the Middle East Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge and climbed the podium three times in February and March. In official Lechner Racing championship and private tests, he has been consistently among the fastest on the track.

In addition to circuit training, he also trains on the simulator and follows a demanding physical training plan to develop strength, dexterity of movement, cardiorespiratory fitness and resistance, fundamental elements to overcome physical exhaustion during races.

The first two races of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany will take place this Saturday and Sunday in Hockenheim.
