Luxembourg’s Ministry of Mobility and Public Works, in collaboration with the Public Transport Administration, has confirmed that Minister Yuriko Backes has decided to extend the operation of the so-called "factory" bus services.

Minister Backes first met with the actors concerned by this issue, namely, on the one hand, the unions representing the interests of employees using these lines, and, on the other hand, FEDIL representing the interests of employers located in these industrial sites to deepen the discussions and complete the analyses and counts of use of these lines. It was also a question of exposing in detail in this context all the existing options and alternatives within the public transport network (RGTR lines and train) for the employees of the companies concerned.

The extension impacts the following bus services:

  • 12U Ettelbruck – Colmar/Factories – Bissen/Z.I.
  • 13U Erpeldange (Wiltz) – Roost/Rouuscht
  • 14U Asselborn – Colmar/Factories
