Luxembourg's Ministry of Mobility and Public Works has announced, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, a series of protective measures in public transport from Monday 20 April 2020.

From that date, the following protective measures must be observed in public transport, i.e. bus, train and tram, across Luxembourg:

- Drivers, as well as other employees employed in public transport, must wear a mask, either a medical mask, or an artisanal fabric mask, bandana or scarf.

- Passengers are also obliged to wear a mask, either a medical mask, or an artisanal fabric mask, bandana or scarf.

The following protective measures also remain in place:

• The front door of buses remains closed. Passengers are asked to enter and exit via the rear doors.

• The 1st row of bus seats remains unoccupied and a barrier tape in place.

• No ticket sales (RegioZone and 1st class on trains).
