Luxembourg's Ministry of Health and the Luxembourg Hospital Federation (Fédération des Hôpitaux Luxembourgeois - FHL) have announced plans to downgrade the hospital ramp up plan to level 2.
In light of the favourable evolution of COVID-19 hospitalisations (both in intensive and normal care), the national crisis unit, in agreement with the FHL, has decided to lower the phase of the hospital ramp up plan to level 2.
However, patients hospitalised for another cause, but carrying the COVID-19 virus, remain a concern for the internal organisation of hospitals, which will remain vigilant and will monitor this development in the coming weeks.
