On Monday 31 May 2021, Luxembourg's Ministry of Health reported zero new COVID-19 (coronavirus) infections; there have been 815 fatalities (one new death over the weekend) resulting from the virus to date.
A total of 337 tests were carried out on Sunday, with zero coming back positive. The positivity rate was 0%.
Wednesday 18 November 2020 marked the record daily high of 891 new cases.
The average daily increase (over a 7-day period) is currently 44.43.
As of Sunday 30 May, a total of 27 people were in hospital with the virus, including eight patients in intensive care.
As per figures from Sunday 30 May 2021, there are currently 877 active infections known, whilst a total of 68,240 people have recovered from the virus to date. The effective reproductive rate in Luxembourg stands at 0.82.
As of Sunday, a total of 345,574 vaccinations had been carried out in Luxembourg (228,017 first doses, 117,557 second doses).

Since 24 August 2020, the Ministry of Health's published figures only include resident infection numbers, as opposed to earlier figures which included both residents and non-residents (i.e. cross-border workers).
