On Tuesday 14 July 2026, UNA Strassen became the first of Luxembourg's representatives to qualify for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League after eliminating San Marino's La Fiorita.

After securing a 1-0 victory in the first leg, head coach Jérémy Deichelbohrer made three changes to the starting line-up for the return fixture. David Dadashev and Omar Natami replaced Eldin Rastoder and Jimmy Gonçalves in midfield, while Babou Seye started in place of Matheus Souza up front.

As in the first leg, UNA Strassen controlled much of the game. The visitors finished with nineteen attempts to La Fiorita's two, including six shots on target, while the San Marino side failed to register a single effort on target.

UNA Strassen made the perfect start, taking the lead in the eighth minute. Forward Nicolas Perez met Omar Natami's pass and beat La Fiorita goalkeeper Gianluca Vivan to extend the Luxembourg team's aggregate advantage.

The visitors all but sealed the tie in the 38th minute, when Valentin Steinmetz doubled the lead to 2-0 after being set up by Babou Seye.

The score remained unchanged after the break, as Jérémy Deichelbohrer's side secured a 3-0 aggregate victory and became the first of Luxembourg's representatives to reach the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

UNA Strassen will next face Serbian giants FK Partizan Belgrade, ten-time Serbian champions and third-place finishers in the 2025/2026 Serbian SuperLiga. The first leg is scheduled to take place in Serbia on Thursday 23 July 2026, with the return leg in Luxembourg one week later.
