The number of people having tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Luxembourg stands at 3,711 (up 12 from Saturday), including 88 fatalities (up 3 from Saturday) resulting from the virus, as of early evening on Sunday 26 April 2020.

Of those people having tested positive for coronavirus to date, 3,017 are residents and 706 are non-residents. The average age of those testing positive is 46, with the ratio of men to women being 51% / 49%, while the median age of the victims (excluding one patient from the Grand Est) who lost their lives to the virus is 85 (average age: 83). 146 people remain hospitalised at present in relation to COVID-19, including 22 patients (plus those transferred from the Grand Est) in intensive care. Nevertheless, 788 have been discharged from hospital.

Since the beginning of the crisis, Luxembourg has carried out a total of 39,003 tests (31,452 on residents, 7,551 on non-residents); currently there are 531 people known to be infected and 3,104 people have recovered from COVID-19.
