As of Wednesday evening, the number of people having tested positive for COVD-19 (coronavirus) in Luxembourg has reached 2,319, including 29 fatalities resulting from the virus.
The Grand Duchy has reported an increase of 141 confirmed cases of coronavirus and an additional six deaths related to the virus in one day. These figures include 1,992 residents and 327 non-residents.
The 29 fatalities resulting from the virus do not include the death of one patient who had been transferred from the Grand Est region in France to Luxembourg for treatment.
To date, a total of 18,690 tests have been carried out in the Grand Duchy.
