Omega 90 asbl, the Luxembourg association for the promotion of palliative care, has announced the official opening of its new office, which took place on Monday 2 March 2020.

After months of planning and work, Omega 90's 23 employees yesterday moved from their offices on Rue Adolphe Fischer to the new premises on Rue de Chiny in Luxembourg City.

This new office, which offers a modern and centrally located advice centre for patients and their families, has been created across 670m² over two floors. The office also boasts space to hold regular further training in palliative care. Up to now, various external rooms have been used for this, which will no longer be necessary in the future.

The official opening of the new office took place on Monday 2 March 2020 in the presence of Luxembourg's Minister for Family Affairs and Integration and for the Greater Region, Corinne Cahen, Jean Hoss, Honorary President of the André Losch Fondation, Pit Reckinger, President of the André Losch Fondation, Daniela Ragni, Director of the André Losch Fondation, and Diane Dhur, President of Omega 90 asbl.

BS Developpment SA was responsible for the implementation of this major construction project, with support from bel.architecture. The Ministry for Family Affairs and Integration and for the Greater Region also supported the construction project, as did the André Losch Fondation by financing some of the furniture.

The opening of this new office takes place in the anniversary year of the association, which was founded in 1990. At that time, the office was still located in a small apartment on Grand Rue in Esch-sur-Alzette.
