On Tuesday 30 April 2024, Luxembourg's independent audiovisual authority, ALIA, reported that local art collective Richtung22 had filed a complaint against RTL.

According to ALIA, Richtung22 submitted sixteen files to the authority targeting the activities of RTL Lëtzebuerg on different communication media, from radio and television to video on demand (VOD) and the Internet.

As reported by ALIA in its press release, the collective expressed concerns over alleged hidden commercial communications, plagiarism of press releases and articles and violation of rules linked to RTL's missions as defined in its public service agreement with the Luxembourg state.

ALIA has thus been tasked with examining the files presented.
