ArcelorMittl is expanding its production of its metallic coated steel, Magnelis, in Avilés Spain in order to keep up with growing demand.
Used in a wide range of industries and end applications, the metal first rolled off the production line in 2010, in Belgium, Germany and Spain.
The metal has enjoyed success in the solar energy market in particular, becoming the industry’s reference product for ground mounted structures says the company. In the last three years, consumption has tripled. It is also becoming the product of choice for harsh outdoor and indoor environments.
