The Grand Ducal Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a burglary at a hotel in Wahlhausen on Friday 14 August 2026.
At around 07:00, police received a report of a burglary at the reception of a hotel on An der Deckt. According to initial information, two unknown suspects gained access to the building and searched the premises. Among other items, a cash register was stolen. The two suspects had previously parked a vehicle in a nearby car park before making their way to the hotel reception.
Police are asking anyone with relevant information about the incident or who may have observed suspicious individuals or vehicles near the hotel or in the surrounding area to contact the Ourdall police station by tel: 24483-1000 or by email: police.ourdall@police.etat.lu.
