On Tuesday 14 July 2026, the Grand Ducal Police issued a witness appeal following the theft of a woman's handbag.
According to the police, the handbag was stolen on 17 February 2025. An unknown female suspect subsequently used a bank card taken from the handbag to withdraw cash from an ATM in Luxembourg-Gare.
Police are seeking information that could help identify the woman.

Update: On Tuesday 14 July 2026, the Grand Ducal Police confirmed that the woman sought in connection with a theft and subsequent cash withdrawal in Luxembourg-Gare had been identified.
