A driver was killed instantly when the French-registered car he was driving crashed into a truck at the Aire de Berchem in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The accident happened at around 04:45 on the A3 motorway. The police are investigating the cause of the accident which saw the car drive into the truck parked at the Aire de Berchem motorway service station area.
