On Friday 17 February, as part of its 175th anniversary celebrations, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce made two charitable donations of €10,000 each to Zesummen Aktiv (ZAK), and Een Häerz fir Kriibskrank Kanner (EHKK).

The Chamber presented the two cheques to Danièle Flammang-Pauly, president of ZAK and to Marie-Marthe Bruck-Clees, president of EHKK.

ZAK was founded in 2008 to promote the inclusion of mentally handicapped people through sports, cultural and social activities with able-bodied people. With the support of the Chamber of Commerce, the organisation will host an international basketball tournament in September 2017 including several foreign teams. A "VIP" match is also scheduled to which Luxembourg personalities will be invited.

EHKK was founded in 2000 to support the families of children, teenagers and young adults who are living with cancer.
