Credit: Clean Something for Nothing (CSFN)
Non-profit organisation Clean Something for Nothing (CSFN) has announced it will host an environmental “Cleanup” session in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Sunday 20 September, on the occasion of World Clean Up Day.
The cleanup, run in with the collaboration of the EU Climate Pact Ambassadors Luxembourg, European Parliament Liaison Office, Sembeza Africa, Europe Direct Luxembourg-Ville, Kehsia, L'association Syrienne au Luxembourg asbl and Young Life LU will welcome MEP Martine Kemp as a special guest.
The cleanup will take place at the Central Park in Kirchberg (2 Rue Léon Hengen) from 13:00 to 15:00 and is open to all ages. For participants under sixteen, one should write to info@cleansomethingfornothing.com in advance to receive the parental consent form.
The organisers have stated that they will provide gloves, trash bags, yellow vests, litter pickers and drinking water. Just bring comfortable clothes, closed shoes and your energy.
Last year, 50 volunteers collected 57.5 kg in the same location.
