The City of Luxembourg has confirmed that tap water is once again safe to drink in the Ban de Gasperich area.

The Water Department of the City of Luxembourg carried out microbiological analyses following the contamination of tap water in certain areas of the capital earlier this week. The results of these analyses were conclusive and residents can now freely consume tap water again.

The streets concerned were: Rue Emile Bian, Rue Robert Stumper, Rue Henri M. Schnadt, Boulevard de Kockelscheuer, Rue Jean Piret, Rue Leonardo Da Vinci, Rue Gerhard Mercator, Rue Albert Einstein, Rue Charles Darwin, Rue Lise Meitner, Boulevard F.W. Raiffeisen, Rue Isaac Newton and Rue Rosalind Franklin.
